Creature Finale, Saving Kaiya

Each member involved in the event would have received a white feather. Upon touching it, a white rift would open with an encouraging feeling coming from it calling to them to enter. Each would step in for their own reasons, and the end of a long story would begin.
[2010/02/21 16:27] As they step through the white rift, an explosion of light surrounds them.. They all hear the same voice, the reversed echoing one that fills them with a sense of warmth and kindness, a lingering innocence within the pure essence. As it fades however, they find themselves atop a building far above the city. Should they fall... things could get ugly. The clouds above the building begin to swirl with blackness, lightning strikes lashing out towards the ground angrily as if something big.... really big... were tearing through the air. A sense of pure, unrepressed rage, the reiatsu causing the air to shudder under its strength.
[2010/02/21 16:32] Wulf (Evan) stepped out and looked up at the sky. As it grew more ominous, his eyes narrowed. He felt the air around him and the building underneath his feet shake under the sheer reiatsu from whatever was on its way. He took a calming breath and waited.
[2010/02/21 16:35] Senryuu 's body flew out of an opening and smashed into the surface of a rough texture, he felt around a bit feeling something wet and red, "Oh shit." His hotdog spilled allover his new jacket. He took a moment to calm himself and try and scrub out the stains, the mysterious abduction didn't bother him, because everything these dyas was weird, "Where am I." He noticed wulf. He stood up slowly looking off the side of a building, he quickly moved his hand over his mouth, "I hate height..."
[2010/02/21 16:39] Kyo steps out the rift and looks about "Well at least im dressed this time....and dry" despite his horrid ability to sense reiatsu Kyo could feel the aproaching clouds reiatsu. a sight shiver runs down his spine and he looks up at the swirling clouds. "this is gonna be fun" he grins as his right hand rests on his zanpakuto's hilt
[2010/02/21 16:42] Yumm lands lightly as his portal deposits him on the roof, frowning around at the random group of people....and at the edge of the building, he pales visibly as he glances at the massive swirling vortex, shuddering under the strength of the massive reiatsu. "Ah....Hey Wulf.......I think that problem we were talking about solved itself........." he mumbles loudly, hand resting on the schneider hilts clipped on his belt.
[2010/02/21 16:46] The cloud swirls, and black ooze begins dripping from the center as if it were birthing something. The ooze smells rancid, the reiatsu from it is dark, and forboding like the creatures. Out of the clouds, the vile black ooze begins to clump disgustingly, pulsing and flexing, before dropping a slime covered being onto the center of the roof. It's unmoving or the moment, and the ooze makes it difficult to see what it could be.
[2010/02/21 16:50] Wulf (Evan) stepped back, and drew a schneider from off of his right shoulder. He kept it deactivated for now, the device hanging off of his index finger. "Everyone, be on guard." he said, looking around to the group of people that ended up on the roof.
[2010/02/21 16:54] Senryuu 's flickered up to the mass of ooze that had gathered before him, "What is that, did someone take a crap." he joked, with a sarcastic sneer. He was sort of ticked that he was pulled away from his peaceful evening. Lifting both is hands up he fixed his jacket brushing off the dust that had crept onto it from when he fell, "So what is that." He said dazily, only haven woken up about twenty minutes earlier. He pressed his left hand to his jaw shifting it over to crack it back into place and then he edged his neck back and forth to crack the bones within.
[2010/02/21 17:00] Kohaku Hisakawa was unable to keep her curiosity at bay. She stepped through the white rift and was instantly transported to the rooftop. Softly she lands on the concrete, only the sound of loose material crunsching under her feet was audible. She takes a look around and spots the others nearby...most of whome were at least somewhat familiar to her. Before she has a chance to say anything, she is distracted by the black ooze forming nearby then immediately taps the side of her scanning tool to get a reading on its molecular makeup.
[2010/02/21 17:01] Kyo watches the the rancid ooze and takes a step back before drawing his Zanpakuto and resting it over his right shoulder "I... Can honestly say that smells Terrible...." he waves a hand infornt of his face to fan the air.
[2010/02/21 17:03] Yumm wrinkles his nose and takes a small step back, drawing the schneider blade but like Wulf, not activating it yet. he holds it lossely in one hand, eyeing the ooze cautiously and tensing as he waits for some sort of movement. "What....is that thing?"
[2010/02/21 17:09] Kohaku's readings would find its... a gigai? The crimson locks of hair beginning to peek through as her broken, practically skyclad form slowly is revealed by the dissipating black ink. It's Willow... or Kaiya as some know her. Unmoving, barely breathing, covered in horrific scars from the experiments and torture she was put through. The clouds swirl faster, the reiatsu remaining constant for a moment. The clouds pulsate around the center, contract, and more ooze begins to drip free falling over the woman's form to hide it within the darkness again. Blackened tendrils flowing out rom the ooze, cocooning around her rapidly, protectively, and much like a giant cage. Atop it lands another creature, red eyes peering out as the building roof dents slightly under the force against the coccoon. It churrs and makes unusual sounds at the crowd. Black claws dripping with the inky ooze as if it were blood dripping off its fingertips. Red eyes squint at them, feet shifting just a little before it seems to
[2010/02/21 17:17] >> A disgusted look creeps across Wulf's face as the creature appears. To those that could tell, the reishi in the area starts to grow more dense as the Quincy Paladin draws it in toward them on the rooftop. He draws a second schneider from behind his back, keeping this one deactivated as well. This battle, he could tell, will decide Willow/Kaiya's fate.
[2010/02/21 17:18] Senryuu stood still, shifting the weight between his legs every now and then so he wouldn't tire himself out standing. His eyes narrowed a normal reaction, 'Nobody even laughed at my joke...' Senryuu let out an abrupt sigh, look severely depressed. He started to smell something, a strong odor was clouding his nostrils, 'That smell...' The thought buzzed through his mind, he didn't know what to make of it but it was vaguely familiar. "Wait! I know." His nonchalant look soon became an upbeat expression with a broad smile, "It smells like burnt cookies." Senryuu lept forward scooping up a small fragment of ooze on his finger. He put it in his mouth and imeditaly puked, "Ugh...not even close to burnt cookies. Jeez...so misleading." He stepped back wiping off the signs of him puking, pushing it into the ooze as he stepped backwards pretending like nothing happened. 'That was close, I don't think anyone noticed.' He eyes shot back and forth, pretending to look serious like the others.
[2010/02/21 17:23] Kyo looks into the Red Eyes of the the creature atop the Cocoon. Kyo had a flash back to the time he was in the other Dimension where all he could see was the red eye's piercing through the darkness. "Oi.... I think i've seen that thing before!' Kyo grips his zanpakuto tightly and widens his stance a bit ready for just about anything.
[2010/02/21 17:29] Kohaku Hisakawa sort of stood back and kept her distance, stilll studying the creature that seemed to be holding a familiar looking young woman in it's putrid clutches. It would appear that a quick and simple strike against the thing would also harm the girl....which was a shame because now would likely be a good time to attack. In response to Kyo's state of alarm, she would grasp the hilt of her zanpakuto and ready herself for attack, however she would be content jsut sitting back and letting the boys handle this, besides, she hated fighting and would rather study the creature for weaknesses to exploit. "I don't like this one bit....." she says in a low tone which was barely audible.
[2010/02/21 17:32] Yumm growls softly and the schneider in his hand suddenly springs to life, the glowing blue swordblade flickering brightly as he takes a challenging step forward, He squeezes his eyes shut momentarily, and opens them again, the spirit ribbons of the present company springing to life before his eyes. "Fucker....what do we have to do to kill you."
[2010/02/21 17:36] The creature remained atop the coccoon, eyes shifting to them with a strange chirping sound, tail swaying slowly back and forth as it begins to spin, spreading the fibers of flesh, fur, and feathers up around it like wings, then slowly settles again. When Yumato takes a threatening step forward, the creature freezes and slowly lifts onto its legs more fully, standing upright like some strange lizard. The fins on its body sharply spreading, "I can kill her.." The voice echoes, one not of men nor women, but both. Piercing red eyes seem locked on Yumato, a flurry of shadows beginning to grow from the coccoon, moving in a spiral up and around the creature hinting at just how dangerous it may very well be, "Shinigami.... Quincy..." Eyes shifting to each, pausing on Senryuu. A dark, disturbing chuckle.
[2010/02/21 17:41] Wulf stands still, feeling a shiver run up his spine as the creature spoke - the combination of voices from the creature eerie. He activates both schneiders that he held, still rather relaxed, the blades hanging from his hands by their ends. He looks around, waiting to see what everyone else will do.
[2010/02/21 17:43] Senryuu 's mind finally wrapped around the situation after he moved ahead of his uneasiness and sickly atmosphere, "Oh...so its already time." He mumbled softly to himself finally staring towards the figure for the first time since he arrived, 'I think the quincy have it for now.' He thought rembering Wulf's plan vaguely when he explained it trying to recall the exact scenario. Senryuu lifted his right hand moving it to the opposite side of his body to help his left hand slip out of his jacket. Once he slipped out of one end her performed the same action to the other side. The mometn he dropped his jacket it fluttered off with the wind slipping off the edge of the building. 'Oh dang my new jacket...dam wind.' He paused as he had let his mind wander yet again, "What are you guys sitting her for aren't you quincy gonna stab it or something." Senryuu's gaze drifted towards Wulf then to the midget quincy, noticing the big gathered crowd, 'What a culmination of people.' He chuckled.
[2010/02/21 17:53] Kohaku Hisakawa continues to watch. She wasn't quite sure if the others had some sort of plan, but she hoped that they weren't just standing around frozen, like a bunch of dear hypnotized by a car's headlights. During her analysis, she had noticed two things that were rather strange about the creature. First, that it appeared to be made mostly out of shadows, with several extensions of itself completely made from shadows, and there appeared to be a sort of symbiosis going on here. THe second thing she noticed was that the young girl's life force was slowly being sucked away, which is likely indacative that the creature was using her as "fuel" so to speak. This was obviously vital information that she should probably tell the others, but she thought she might wait until the creature was occupied so she would have a chance to relay the information. She remains on guard, hand still clutching her zanpakutou.
[2010/02/21 17:59] Kyo holding his zanpakuto in his right hand lifts it off his shoulder "Ok I've had enough of this" and with that he lunges up in the air flying towards the creature on the cocoon. he would swing upward at the creatures right side and from blow. Hoping to catch the creature off guard and to see how the creature would react. It wasnt the brightest idea but Kyo figures he could probably get some kinda combat information.
[2010/02/21 18:04] Yumm lunges at the cage while the shinigami distracts the monster, trying to shear through the darkness holding her captive so he could reach her. he really didn't care so much about beating the creature as long as it still had her, his main priority would be getting her back and away from it.
[2010/02/21 18:08] As Senryuu had disturbed the goo earlier, suddenly a few pieces break off and start lying towards him like little alien blobs intending to try to cover him. One lunges towards his face in particular, and if it attaches, it'd try to suction itself over his face making it hard to breath. The others going for other random parts of his body, clinging if they manage to get to him. Kyo's attempt to surprise it makes the creature shriek, snapping the shadow tentacles up trying to intercept him, and knock him back with a good, solid bitch smack. This would distract it, but Yumm's attempt to simply stab at the cocoon would only minorly chip it. Just a little. It was hard as a rock, and the texturing felt like coconut shells, tough, fabricy.. A sudden pulse of reiatsu bursts out, it's massive, then gets sucked back in rapidly causing the creature to scream with growing anger, "Clever!" It yells, "You cannot save her."
[2010/02/21 18:16] Wulf hirenkyakus around to the creatures opposite side, the two schneiders flashing to life and moving toward the creature. He spins the blades around his index fingers to add some extra momentum to his strike, and brings them both down, aimed to strike at the creature's shoulders. He isn't sure what the shadow-beast is capable of, though from that quick burst of reiatsu he could tell that this would not be an easy battle in any sense of the word.
[2010/02/21 18:16] Senryuu 's body tilts slightly to the left as a blob slipped by his face, "Seriously what is this crap." He gave a slightly disgusted look rembering its foul taste. His hand lit up with a blackened reiatsu resembling that of a black flame with the same intensity. Senryuu resembled a kid playing whack-a-mole as his enflamed fist smashed into the tiny blobs, "Yuck..." The were like swarms of bee's, just keep coming, 'Are these things trying to make me go nuts. This is why hate small things.' He yelled inside his mind expecting an answer, but again he was astonished that he had no reply. Moving about in a circle every so often he step on a slime blob or crunch his fist into the building. "Thats the last of them." He muttered, taking in a deep breath he caught himself up with the situation. 'I should probably do something, I can't stand these midget blobs.' Senryuu lifted his left hand slowly scratching his head trying to think quickly as the situation demanded the only thing that came to mind was blowing it up.
[2010/02/21 18:26] Kohaku Hisakawa watches the reactions of the creature closely. She decided to draw her blade, slowly, so as not to draw any attention to herself. At the right moment, she would likely try to attack....but she needed a strategy...and she was drawing a blank. If this was a shadow creature.....would a bright light cause it to go away? Or maybe total darkness....it was impossible to tell. She was beginning to feel a bit helpless, but for now she would stay distant and simply watch.
[2010/02/21 18:28] Kyo gets bitch slapped back to the ground. Kyo stands up and dusts his jacket off. "That was somewhat expected... alright yeah i'm certain i've fought this thing before" a grin runns across Kyo's face as his reiatsu flares. "Rage Zantoryu!" Kyo release his shikai. His zanpakuto's blade glows red. Once again he lunges at the creature swing upward. hs speed would be much faster. As he begins to swing his body disappears and appears over the Creature swing down at its back hoping he had tricked and that he could catch it off guard with the sudden change in attack direction.
[2010/02/21 18:29] Yumm shudders back a step, squeezing his eyes tightly against the naseauted feeling from the burst of reiatsu, before shaking his head and glaring at the ribbons around him, it had been the key so far.....so he had to assume it had some sort of holding in this to, he would try to focus on the ribbons coming from the caccoon itself, his blade flickering out at any of them that happened to be nearby, aiming specifically at the points where the parasitic things seemed to be attached to it. trying to cut through both of them at the same time. It was the only thing he could think of to weaken the cacoon...and he had to rely on the others to keep it off of him for the time being.
[2010/02/21 18:35] Wulf's blades would touch upon its arm, and as it seemed to slice, black ooze begun to spray out with more of the smaller blobs following in its wake, trying to cover him in it. The creature laughs a bit, its psychotic and disturbing to hear. Kyo's Reiatsu flare made it snicker. As he appeared over the creatures back, he'd suddenly be assulted with a spray of shadow blobs which did not stop his attack, but intended fully to cover him in the inky darkness, particularly flying towards his face in attempt to blind him. Yumato's attempt left a surprising result. The creature suddenly turned towards him, using its tail to try to smack him when he attacked the ribbons coming of the coccoon. The creature seems furious, igniting its second form as massive black, shadowy wings rip from its back, also potentially throwing Kyo back again. They shimmer into existance with ooze dripping off of them, the tail growing in size.. it's reiatsu rapidly increasing to an unsettling amount that would equal that of Kyo
[2010/02/21 18:35] It meant business, and now Yumato was in its sights. If the tail had missed the young Quincy, the creature would snap a large, clawed hand out towards him attempting to grab him, and lift. Should he accomplish this, Yumato was in for a whirl of hurt as his body would begin feeling the roof of the building repeatedly slamming into him.
[2010/02/21 18:42] Wulf 's eyes widen as the spray of blobs fly toward him. The reishi in the air that was more dense than flocks toward him creating a full body shield that the ooze would land on, giving the impression that he was completely covered by whatever it was. The reishi would blast outward, flinging the ooze from him and he holds his hand pointed toward the creature. "Tilt the Goblet to the West - Emerald Grail!" he chants, a blast of electricity flying toward the creature that would explode if contact is made.
[2010/02/21 18:42] Senryuu stood slowly, 'I got it...distraction time.' He watched all the others movements, most of which had moved to the defensive. Leaping forward he halted before he came in contact with the ooze, lifting his foot he started to dril the guck with his foot, 'Take that...' The slime spread around as he attacked it at random, 'This should be a good distraction,' Senryuu's smirk stretched across his face as his body moved deeper into the ooze. Both his hands were covered in black flames smacking at the oozo, he looked like a retard hitting mud but it wa the best plan he could form since she reacted violently the first time when he only touched it, "Die, disgusting slime." He exclaimed sounding like a imbecil. Senryuu's pants were drenched in a foul stench, but he didn't mind since his nose was slightly congested it still reminded him of burnt cookies. "Ugh..." He said aloud, 'I'm gonna need to take a shower after this, not coming out of my jeans that easily. Bad stains.' His eyes were only slightly open.
[2010/02/21 18:51] Kohaku Hisakawa finally decides to take action. She rips off her eyepatch then kneels to the ground, laying her sword down next to her. Quickly she begins taking it apart with a multi-tool she had pulled out of her jacket pocket. She had figured that the creature would be weakened by either intense light or intense darkness. She begins to modify her patch into a sort of flash-bang grenade which hopefully would weaken the creature and give the others a bit of leverage when she decides to use it. So far the creature had not reacted to her, in fact it only seemed to retaliate when provoked, and so she would have plenty of time to finish what she was doing.
[2010/02/21 18:56] Kyo follows through with his attack but reaches up with his left had to his right shoulder grabbing the coat drapped over his shoulders and moving infront of him like a sheild to block the inky blobs that were sprayed at him. He wouldnt see the wings because his coat blocked his vision. He goes flying back from the hit tumbling backwards in air and letting go of his coat. He manages to regain control and burst throught the air again "Shakkohou!" a red orb begins to form in his left hand. Kyo would then slice at the creatures wings and back in a horrizontal attack which kyo would attempt to follow up with the shakkohou. Kyo would attempt a point blank attack by attempting to press it against the the creatures back.
[2010/02/21 18:57] Yumm was pretty much depending on the others to keep it distracted...so he wasn't really watching it, he was concentrating on the spirit ribbons he was slicing and dicing, so the lashing tail would slam full force into him, catching him across his back at the shoulders and propelling him a decent length across the roof, where he hits the ground bodily and rolls a few times, before slowly moving to get to his feet again, His dropped seele schnieder lay deactivated about halfway between himself and the creature.
[2010/02/21 19:03] The blobs would cover, then split and dissolve under the impact of the reishi explosion around Wulf. As the charge flies towards it, the wings would flap, sending a spiralling whirlwind towards Wulf attempting to knock him off the roof, and force others back away from it. The goo Senryuu was slapping with his burning hands suddenly hardens and shoots out like spikes, trying to impale him. Kyo's next attack would cut into the wing, forcing the ooze to spray as it did with Wulf the first time, the kidou however successfully hits, forcing the creature to turn its focus away from Yumato, dripping blackened blood from its back. The wings would attempt to close in around Kyo by pressing them back against each other. Dark tentacles shooting up from around the cocoon again, hoping to trap the Taicho's shikai. Another burst of reiatsu, powerful enough to shake the building they stood on. The creature's mouth would open and begin inhailing deeply, puing out its chest slowly sucking in air rapidly as it did
[2010/02/21 19:17] Wulf staggers backward from the blast of wind, but uses the reishi around him as a wall to fall against, and also as a reishi wedge to deflect the blast of wind from his front. He turns quickly from that to see Yumm flung backward. He glares and turns back toward the creature, his yellow eyes gaining a certain feral glint. He stabs his right handed schneider into the roof of the building and forms his bow quickly on that hand, pulling his left handed schneider back and aiming at the monster's torso, around where its heart should be. He lets the arrow fly, the schneider absorbing reishi from the air as it flys toward the creature.
[2010/02/21 19:19] Senryuu 's legs had been enveloped in the goo and completely hardened, halting his movement, "Dang." The spears shot out, some cracking and breaking when his fists cam into contact with them others moving through his gaurd. "Shit..." One spear sliced his side the other pierced his left should close to his heart, 'So this is the price I pay for sacrificing my powers. So be it.' He mind became at ease, his left hand chopped down breaking the spear that had gone through his shoulder and pushing it out the other side. The only thing he could do at the moment was focus his strenth on breaking the hardened slime below. Senryuu's direct attention fell to that, constant blows caused the toughened ooze to crack slowly, but it came loose. Manuevering both his hands behind him he pulled his legs free standing atop the ooze, 'Now what.' He thought,'If I wage any deeper she'll harden it again and I might not be able to escape, but if I retreat she might send those things at me.' He shivered at the thought,"Screw it." He le
[2010/02/21 19:19] Senryuu: pt completely into the ooze, his entire body lit up in black flames his clothing burning off as he submerged in the pile of crap hoping to set it all aflame before it killed him, "This better not kill me or I'll be pissed." He yelled his last words before his body dissapeared.
[2010/02/21 19:31] Kohaku Hisakawa strained to keep herself planted to the ground as the blast of wind erupts toward her, her haori flapping violently behind her. She grimaced a bit, then stood up, having finally finished the modifications to her patch. Suddenly her form would no longer become visible, and a whisp of air would be only thing heard from her as she flashsteps close to the creature. She would then appear in mid air, grasping her patch in her hand and then she would throw it as hard as she could into the ground. Once the patch impacted, it would explode in a blinding flash of light. This was of course simply a distraction, but she was hoping it would have some adverse reaction on the creature. Regardless, after throwing the patch, she would tuck and roll as she fell to the ground, hoping to gain a bit of distance, because she imagine the creature would be pretty pissed off at her.
[2010/02/21 19:36] Kyo the wings wrap around Kyo traping him like a fly. The spray of the blood/ooze stuff covered his left arm as he brought it back to block. Noticing he was trapped Kyo thinks of only one thing to do "Pulse!" his zanpakuto's blade would glow red brighter and brighter as if it were charging up. Then a large concussive blast would burst from his blade outward. Kyo would get some backlash from the attack but it should give the creature an unpleasent supprise and hopefully the attack would blast the wings away so he could get out.
[2010/02/21 19:39] Yumm gets back to his feet and charges towards his schnieder, drawing the second seele schneider hilt from his belt and grabbing up the fallen one as he refocused on the ribbons, aiming once again to attack and sever as many of the spirit ribbons from the cacoon as he can. roaring in frustrationa dn anger. "The ribbons dammit! Someone cut the fucking ribbons!"
[2010/02/21 19:40] Lifted its massive hand when the arrow was sent towards it trying to grab it, but instead it impales the creatures hand and flies through it, stabbing into the creatures gut. It keeps sucking in the air, though, clentching its hand at the pain as the blackened blood drips free. When Senryuu attempts to fall into it, the goo around him suddenly hardens rapidly, attempting to trap him.. and the creature, should it work, begins to try to feed off his reiatsu much like it was doing to the girl trapped inside the coccoon. It saw Kohaku's patch hit the ground, which gave it hardly any time to react. The flash sending it staggering, shifting around blindly. It had by this time gathered enough air into its lungs, letting an explosion of dramatic wings assult the group like a tornado, trying to send them all flying off. However the sudden blast shreds the creatures wings, and the wind loses momentum after the initial, rapid spin. It screams out painfully as parts of its wings fall away, slapping the ground
[2010/02/21 19:40] und them like pieces of a disgusting beast that just got blown to bits. The wings shake and tremble as if the nerves in it were reacting much like a worm would if it got parts of itself lopped off. Yumato begun cutting the ribbons, which immediately drew the creature's focus again, snapping its hand out to try to grab him.. and should he, its mouth would open wide, attempting to consume the Quincy.
[2010/02/21 19:48] Wulf pushed through the blast of wind as best he could with a reishi wedge, not getting anywhere, but not losing much ground either. He held out his hand, connecting a reishi string to the seele schneider that he shot off and pulled it back toward him out of the creature's body, the blade landing harmlessly on the rooftop. He hirenkyakued over to Yumm, and jumped back off, trying to pull his squire out of the way of the creature's mouth.
[2010/02/21 19:48] Senryuu 's body is surrounded by the goo and completely hardened, the black flames made up of his reiatsu start to simmer as his reiatsu is being sucked from him, 'Oh shit...who came up with this plan, baka.' His body felt like a clay structure, 'Oh I did.' A permanate frown lay stretched across his face, 'At least it will only suck out the small sum of spiritual energy that I have if the seal stays in place.' He smiled happily though with his current strength he could not break free without releasing the seal and putting them in more danger was not something he wanted to do. Senryuu sat in the ooze willingly, 'What now...well I could count to a billion. Yes 1,2,3,4,5.' He started counting in his head nothing else to do.
[2010/02/21 19:57] Kohaku Hisakawa was nearly knocked off the roof by the wind, which was just powerful enough to cause her to lose her balance when she landed from the last attack. At the last second she caught the ledge and saved herself from the fall, but she had lost her haori in the process. She would then pull herself up slowly and watch as teh creature stumbled around seemingly blinded...her plan had worked a bit better than she anticipated! She grips the hilt of her zanpakuto and rushes toward the spirit ribbons and would attempt to start hacking away at them.
[2010/02/21 20:04] Kyo bursts away from the creature int to air above and hover. His right arm covered in several cuts and some blood was trickling down his foehead. His attack had had done what it was intended to but had also wounded himself in the process. After coughing for a bit he regain s his composure and looks to the creature and laughs "I bet ya felt that one Didnt ya!" His hand was barely holding onto the zanpakuto at this point. It had taken abit more damage than Kyo had anticipated. "Crawling Rope" he chuckles. A rope of energy forms from his right hand wrapping around it and the Zanpakuto. He looks to the creature with a wide grin. "Round 3.... Lets Go!" Kyo flies to the creature with tremendous speed and swings ferociously at it once he was with in strikcing distance. Swinging repeatedly and randoms at the creatures body (11 attempted strikes)
[2010/02/21 20:05] Yumm blinks as he's suddenly yanked out of the way by Wulf, trying to dash back as soon as he had regained his footing to go to work at the spirit ribbons again, running towards the cacoon and slashing at any gray spirit ribbons he happens to pass along the way with both of his blades, he was -obsessed- with freeing her, at pretty much any cost. he lets both seele schneiders flicker and blur as he slashes out with them both, that same sort of desperate speed creeping into his strikes once again as his arms blur faster and faster. and if He can actually make it to the caccoon without interuption, he'll try to slice it open and pull Willow out.
[2010/02/21 20:10] When the schneider gets yanked from it, it screatches painully, staggering and shaking its head quickly. The Reiatsu bursts again, this time more.. The whole building trembling as its finaly level ignites, sending a massive shadowy dragon up from the cocoon, letting it wrap itself around the blinded, wounded creature. It lets out an ear shattering shreik, trying to throw them off a bit before it'd make its attack on Kohaku who's managing to do quite the number on the ribbons o the cocoon, adding to the damage Yumato had managed. The dragon lashes out towards her, trying to knock her back. Massive, spider like legs would start to burst out of its body, and wings to follow much larger, and very similar to the wings the creature had before they were blown off. As the dragon attempts to this, and Kyo comes at the creature to strike, the dragon attempts to to stab him with one of the massive, pointy, spider like legs, but likely misses as it's distracted with Kohaku at the moment. [2010/02/21 20:10] ome of the legs being lopped off in the process as the creature finds itself shreiking out in pain at the assults upon it, leaving deepening wounds with each hit. The black flames Senryuu once had, suddenly burst around the cocoon in attempt to force the two away from it, using Senryuu's reiatsu to fuel it and keep it going.
[2010/02/21 20:17] Wulf jumps backward, his own reiatsu flaring and shaking the building. He hirenkyakus over to his seele schneider that lay on the rooftop, and picks it up. He holds out both hands, reishi strings attaching themselves to the two seele schneider he was holding and the three still in their holsters. He brings them both forward and the five quincy blades floated slowly around him. He focused on the places around the cocoon that had the highest concentration of the shadow-beasts reiatsu and sent the five blades flying toward it, aiming at those points with slashes of the flying weapons.
[2010/02/21 20:18] Senryuu started to feel a bit light-headed or full-headed he didn't know what to think, 'Did I dive in this...' He thought for a moment thn came to a realization, 'Shit, I am upsidedown.' All the blood started to flow to his head as he fiented briefly, several minutes later he woke again, "Ugh...man the whole planning thing isn't my strong point." His voice was muffled against the hardened ooze it resembled cement to him, 'Oh what number was I at 216,217,218. Dam how how a number is a billion, are they done yet.' His mind was boggled going from one topic to the next, but I guess that happens when you can't do anything, 'Now I know how statues feel.' He started to sulk.
[2010/02/21 20:27] Kohaku Hisakawa becomes overwhelmed by teh creatures spiritual pressure, and it unable to react in time to dodge it's attack. At the last second she manages to place her arms in front of her in an "X" formation hoping to soften the blow a bit. The impact from the attack still sends her flying back several yards until she finally crashes into the roof, leaving a small crater and a plume of dust and debri rises from it. As she lay in the crater, a tad bit bloodied, she decides she would play dead for now until she can find another way to exploit the creature.
[2010/02/21 20:33] Kyo was cut off from his assult on the creature when the shadow beast's spider leg clipped his left side tearing through his haori and robes leaving a gash on his side. Kyo would respond by spinning around with his blade reaching outward in an attempt to lop off the leg. The reiatsu it gave off was intense. "Oh this jsut keeps getting better and better" he laughs but his movements become a bit sluggish for a moment due to the heavy reiatsu of the creature
[2010/02/21 20:37] Yumm staggers slightly against the wave of reiatsu, but would keep pressing sluggishly forward. before reaching the flames, he would pull out a silver tube from his pocket, poitning it at the flames before him. "May the impurity of mankind be washed away - Hydro!" he murmurs, letting the blast of water rush out from the tube and onto the flames, regardless of wether or not it actually puts them out, he would close in on the cacoon again, if the flames aren't put out, he would draw in his reishi and solidify it around him to try and protect him for a small window at least, His main goal is to slice into the caccoon and free Willow, regardless of physical injury to himself.
[2010/02/21 20:41] The five blades would head towards it, but the dragon would not so easily allow its master to be struck, moving its tail into the path to knock some of the shneiders away. However deflecting all five was still difficult, especially against a man who could match the strength of the beast. Three of the five managed to get passed the dragon, sinking in deep leaving the creature again the shreik in pain. Senryuu's form still kept close inside it, would suddenly begin to glow as the creature tried to feed more hurriedly, as would the cocoon that trapped Willow, trying to compensate for the damage it has taken throughout the fight. Now they had two people to save, to prevent them of being drained of the reiatsu that gave them life. Kyo's attack clips the leg, enough to make it useless as the dragon turns to try to snap its jaws over Kyo, hoping to catch him in its mouth and crush him with its jaws. Yumato's attempt to extinguish the flames works, but the cocoon remains solid even as the ribbons are butc
[2010/02/21 20:41] continuously. He has the right idea, but the shell seems to be gaining strength suddenly. Senryuu's form and Willow's both are glowing now. The creature turns back, snatching a hand out towards Yumato to try to grab him, and if successful, it would attempt to slam him repeatedly into the roof.
[2010/02/21 20:49] Wulf lets the reishi strings around the seele schneiders dissipate, dropping them momentarily from his control. He draws his sixth and final seele schneider from under the cloak at his side and activates it, the blade much larger than a normal one. He dissapears with a hirenkyaku and reappears between the claw and Yumm, bringing his blade up in defense, but also to hopefully remove the creatures claw from its body.
[2010/02/21 21:02] Kohaku Hisakawa stands up from the crater in the roof of the building, and finds herself struggling to do so. Even still, she had managed to gathering a substantial amount of reiatsu during her recovery time. Without warning, and intense yellow aura surround her entire body, which begind to flicker around quite violently, as if she were covered in flames. She raises her zanpakutou in front of her "calm the raging waters...Seigetsu!" she shouts. Now her zanpakutou becomes covered in water, concealing it from sight, and then it would elongate as it begins to transform into a three bladed halberd type weapon. Now, she would grip the weapon with both hands, holding above her and twirling it around overhead. Onlookers might be confused about what she was doing exactly, but she was hoping the creature was kept busy enough to give her time
[2010/02/21 21:02] Kyo looks up at the mouth of the dragon as it approaches and jumps to the side slashing at the air and releasing a condensed wave of orange and red reiatsu at the beast's mouth. the baslt would be sharp as his blade and would move with with a fair amount of speed
[2010/02/21 21:09] Yumm steps off one of Wulf's shoulders as he launches himself into the air, his bow springing to life on his hand, he switches both schneiders to one hand. And draws them both back on his bow, letting them plunge downward and at the beast, hoping to implant them both in the creature's chest as he begins his descent, his bow dissapears and his hand drifts towards the third schneider hilt at his side, drawing it quickly and pouring his reishi into it, causing a long metal handle to shoot out of it, and a large glowing scythe blade to suddenly burst from the head, He would draw back with it, hoping the creature would stay distracted for the moment, and as he falls towards it, try to bury the blade of it into the dragon's head.
[2010/02/21 21:14] The claw would come off rather easily having not expected Wulf to suddenly appear in front of it. It lets out a painful scream, moving to snap its other hand out towards Wulf trying to grab him now instead of Yumato. Kohaku wouldn't get paid much attention as the creature was focused on not being killed by those directly assulting it. Kyo's attack would strike true as the beasts jaw went to clamp down and felt the top portion of its head severed suddenly, causing its body to turn into nothing more than a pile of goo as it splashes down and begins to bubble, burning against the roof like acid. Yumato's first two hits would embed into the creatures chest, forcing it to stagger back and stumble off the cocoon which seperated it. As it did so, its mouth would open and purge Senryuu from its form, essentially puking him up on top of the cocoon itself. When Yumato attempts to strike the dragon, he would instead find air as the goo collapses to the ground. The creature's body was fatally wounded at this
[2010/02/21 21:14] t. It would still have tried to grab Wulf, and cling to him if it manages, trying to use him as a sheild.
[2010/02/21 21:22] Wulf tenses as the creature's claw comes to grab him, and quickly mutters a few words under his breath. He holds his blade in such a manner that the creature would still grab onto him, but the blade itself would pierce through the shadow's arm. "Firestorm!" he yelled, the air around the blade of the larger seele schneider warping from heat waves and suddenly erupting with dark blue fire, that would essentially burn the creature's arm off should all this work.
[2010/02/21 21:34] Kohaku Hisakawa would leap forward at a 45 degree angle with water trailing behind her, water she had used propel herself forward. BEfore reaching the creature, she would point her weapon at it and yell "bakusai furu!!!" which is the command for her signature move. While twirling the weapon, she had been gathering as much moisture as she could from the atmosphere and simultaneously heating it to boiling temperatures with her reiatsu. So now, with her command given, a powerful blast of pressurized and heated water would fire from her weapon and straight toward the top of teh creature. With her "pressure washer" type attack, she was able to decimate most enemies, and she had hoped it would leave a nice dent in her opponent. At the very least, she suspected it would become scalded from the heat.
[2010/02/21 21:41] Kyo Kyo turns his attention back to the creature and shunpos behind the creature almost in an instant. Looking at it Kyo aims his Zanpakuto at the creatures back as he speeds towards it. His balde still glowing a bright red Kyo would thrust his balde at the creatures back hoping to run it through.
[2010/02/21 21:45] Yumm would land, a bit heavier than he had imagined, turning to face the creature at about the same time as the captain's attack, he would reverse his hold on the scythe, godstepping through the scalding steam [assuming her attack hits of course] and swing his scythe upwards like a gold club, trying to take the creature through the stomach and jam the blade up under it's ribcage. and push it towards the edge of the building, further away from the caccoon, "I warned you before.....I will save her. you. cannot. Stop me." he growled angrily, before bringing his foot up and trying to slam it into the things chest, at the same time yanking on the scythe handle to try and rip it forcefully free of it's body, just in case the fall didn't kill it. "Now....Back to hell with you!"
[2010/02/21 21:51] Went to squeeze onto Wulf and keep him sheilding it, but as the sword went through its arm, it let out another pained cry, one weaker, a painful, pitiful look echoing over the faintest hints of its shadowy face. The burning ripping through its arm only intensified, the voice coming out, "No! No, she was my child! I created her! I MADE HER! YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!" The measure, heated water struck the side of the creature's face, ripping through the hood of the fabric and melting the flesh of from the heat painfully. The creature cries horrifically, staggering back again closer to the edge, "NO! SHE'LL DIE WITHOUT ME!" It yelled, the bone of its cheek and jaw becoming evident, gliscening in the light coming from the weapons weilded by its opponants. Kyo's attack struck again, and the creature screamed in pain, "No.. NOO!!" flailing its arms, it suddenly felt the other blade slice through its stomach. A moment of realism, the creatures body suddenly stops, eyes moving down to the Quincy that holds it
[2010/02/21 21:51] the edge of its life. As it jams up under its ribcage, black, bloody tears drip from its eyes.. A voice echoes behind them, the white Essence standing over the cocoon, "...may his blade carry you beyond hell.. into oblivion.. to relive the agony you have put us all through... " The pure essence lifts to fingers, her hand outstretching as she holds her palm up as if a prayer. A white, gentle mist flowing around her, "Seyonara.." Yumato's kick forces the guts to spill from the creature as his weapon is yanked free, and the words of the young Quincy echo in the ears of the creature's soul.. 'I warned you before.....I will save her. you. cannot. Stop me.' As it falls... it's body begins to tear apart like ash, 'Now....Back to hell with you!', slamming into the ground, its entire form plooming out and splattering at the same time, leaving what remained solid, barely identifiable as anything but burned flesh. The fight.. was finally over.
[2010/02/21 21:58] Wulf stands there, panting a little as he deactivates the large schneider and tucks it under the cape on his right arm. He uses reishi strings to retrieve his other five schneiders and guide them into their respective holsters. He lets out a sigh of relief, and walks over to the side of the building to look down at the remains of the beast. He picks the remains up via a reishi platform and float them over to Kohaku. He smiled as he spoke. "You do research right?"
[2010/02/21 22:13] Kohaku Hisakawa touches down rather gracefully on the roof of the building after her attack is complete. She doubles over and begins to pant heavily, the last attack had taken a lot out of her, but she was glad it was finally over. SHe looks over at Wulf as he approaches her and listens to him speak. She goes back to panting for a moment then straightens up and answers him "yes, i do, why do you ask"?
[2010/02/21 22:15] Kyo exhales as he relaxes the crawling rope tha tied his zanpakuto to his hand disappeared and his blade fell to the ground. "That was somethin" he smiles as his left hand reaches down for the zanpakuto. Kyo sheathes it and sit down on the battle worn roof. "Gah...." he continues to smile as he sits looin up into the sky "That was....... Fun"
[2010/02/21 22:18] Yumm sags visibly as the fighting ceases...the scyteh retracting in on itself until it looks once again like a normal, if not unevenly made seele schneider kilt, which he clips slowly back onto his belt, and reaching down, he picks up his other two scheele schneiders, which he had freed when he had ripped the things chest open, He turns slowly, clipping them both too his belt with a slightly burned and bloodied hand, staggering slowly towards the caccoon that still housed Willow. "R-right......we've.....ugh....we've finished it......."
[2010/02/21 22:19] The white essence slowly steps of the cocoon, kicking senryuu off the top of it with a 'gentle' motion. She kneels, white, misty tears beginning to drift from her eyes, "..we're dying.." pressing her hands to the cocoon, she begins to focus what small amount of energy she has left into it, trying to push energy into Willow still trapped inside. Her eyes lift sadly to the others, "..we have no time left.." The cocoon begins to crack, and a bone thin hand emerges slowly from it.. so weak, so frail.. One has to wonder the condition of the girl inside.
[2010/02/21 22:23] Wulf makes the platform of reishi that the remains are on float over in front of Kohaku. "I think you would like this. Can I ask you one thing though? You said that we were missing a piece to make a symbol. Is this the last piece?" he asks before turning to look at the cocoon and essence.
[2010/02/21 22:28] Kohaku Hisakawa holds a finger in front of Wulf and says "one moment please". She pulls out a silver tube which she drops on the ground beside her. The tube poofs into a portable lab station. "Let's find out..." she says and takes a piece of the sample and slides it under a microscope and then begins to examine it. "Hmm....you know what, I think it is the missing piece...."
[2010/02/21 22:31] Kyo continues to look up at the sky feeling kinda useless since he doesnt exactly know what they are talking about. All he knows is a symbol but he had already shared that information.
[2010/02/21 22:33] Yumm stumbles over to the caccoon, glancing at Willow. "I-Is there any way...I can help her........or you.....?" he asks quietly, moving to gently take Willow's hand very gently, more out of instinct than anything else.
[2010/02/21 22:36] The Essence looks up softly at the group, then down to the hand that has broken through the cocoon wall. The hand begins to sink down, allowing the cocoon to crumble more and finally collapse completely revealing a practically dead . The Essence turns back to Yumato, "..here for us... Yumato.." Willow is a skeleton of herself. Her skin is pale, her body covered in sweat with bones poking out disturbingly against her skin as if the muscle in her body had all but vanished. Her breathing is pained, and shallow, and blood drips down her cheeks from her eyes, and her nose coats her lips in blood struggling to stay alive. Her eyes are grayed and blinded. Her frail form seizes horribly as she struggles just to take in a breath.
[2010/02/21 22:38] Willow feels Yumato's grasp, but she can barely respond.. Her skin is cold and clammy to the touch./
[2010/02/21 22:40] Wulf quickly glances over toward the frail form of Willow, and then quickly back to Kohaku. "We need to figure out this puzzle now. Did you bring the other pieces with you?" he asks the 12th division captain, worry plastered all over his expressions and speech.
[2010/02/21 22:43] Kohaku Hisakawa nods "Yes, as a matter of fact I did" she says and pulls out a bag from her coat which contains all of the sample "I got them right here". She empties the contents of the bag onto the lab station. "Now we jsut need to figure out what to do with this stuff...."
[2010/02/21 22:46] Kyo thw smile fades fromhis face when he looks over at Willow/Kaiya's body. He remains quiet and waits.
[2010/02/21 22:48] Yumm sucks in a breath through his teeth at the sight of her, sincing and squating down next to her, taking her hand in both of his and bowing his head slightly, he was pretty much as useless as Kyo in this situation. "Just hang on a bit longer......we're not gonna let you die....." he murmurs quietly to her, doing pretty much the only thing he can. pushing away the horribly crushing fear for her.
[2010/02/21 22:49] The Essence would suddenly begin to gasp, looking down at Willow as her body starts to fall motionless. Grabbing tightly to the broken woman, she tries desperately to keep her energy flowing into Willow, beginning to fade against the wind. Willow's blind eyes would slowly start to close as those blind eyes shift to Yumato.. as if she could just barely hear him enough to know he was there, to understand.
[2010/02/21 22:56] Wulf looks over to Willow, and then back to Kohaku. "Dammit, we're out of time. We don't have time to think, just throw all of it together and pray. Maybe some of the pieces will just fall into place and make the symbol if that's really what we need to do."
[2010/02/21 22:59] Kohaku Hisakawa: "Works for me" she says, and the quickly crams all of the sample one one giant beaker, and mixes them together, taking a moment to stir them all together. She picks up teh beaker and says "now what? do we pour it on top of her or what?" she asks, as if he knew the answer.
[2010/02/21 23:03] Yumm glances up at the beaker, and then back to Willow. squeezing her hand gently. "Hang on....I think they can save you....just stick with us a moment longer." he begs, actually tearing up a bit as her eyes start to close. "You can't die now.......not after all that...."
[2010/02/21 23:04] Collapses on top of Willow, her form floating away with the wind piece by piece.. panting, misty tears falling from her red eyes.. Even she was now too weak to do anything. Willow's eyes fully shut.. her breathing stops.. the pure essence stills and collapses atop her, slowly fading away.
[2010/02/21 23:10] Yumm drops her hand vanishing on the spot and reappearing in front of the woman holding the vial, inches away from her and looming as he snatches the vial away, before turning on his heels and godstepping back, upending the entire thing and pouring it over her and Essence and sloshing some into Willow's mouth. "I said don't die.......I promised you wouldn't" D:
[2010/02/21 23:11] Kohaku Hisakawa blinks for a second suddenly realizing the vial had been snatched from her "well then....someone is in a hurry..." she says and laughs a bit.
[2010/02/21 23:20] As the liquid hit her, the pure Essence and even went into her mouth... nothing seemed to happen. When all seemed lost, and the pure essence disappears, it seemed as if the fight had gone on for nothing. All that... for her to die in the end. The remnance of damage atop the roof started to tremble, the the roof begun to rock beneath their feet, and shake, and shiver as if something big... HUGE were coming. The clouds overhead begin to loom and swirl, lightning crashing again as the clouds starting to shift and form, turning into a bright blue hue, creating an outline.. Circular, with the triangle shape inside.. Symbols dotted around between the points. It glows brighter, the area lighing up around them blindingly. As all seemed lost, an explosion of blue rays shoot down, surrounding Willow's deceased form. Her broken body lifts from the remains of the cocoon, moving closer to the symbol in the sky. Lifting, and slowly rocking forward with her legs down and her head up. Ash beginning to break fr
[2010/02/21 23:20] er body, the crimson locks falling away into the wind becoming pieces of cherry blossoms, swirling up and around her. Each piece revealing the real Kaiya, the Shinigami. Long, long crimson locks flowing out, caressing her skyclad form in thick locks. A whisper upon the wind, too quiet to understand, but enough to cast an essence of peace and joy. Her once broken form dissolving into a beautiful young woman, gifted with youth and innocence. Her long tail the last part to be revealed, covered in shiney, soft fur. An explosion of reiatsu sends shockwaves out from her form, the sound of something that one might call a backdraft sucking in the air, draws in the released reiatsu casting her form aglow. A roar, a happy roar as the phantom of winged anthro cat forms around her, eyes closed, then creeps away into the cherry blossoms which scatter, twinkle and disappear. THe glow of the blue fades, and Kaiya slowly drifts down, the clothing she disappeared with forming over her body. Upon the broken roof

[2010/02/21 23:28] Wulf walks over to Kaiya's form and kneels down beside her, checking for a pulse and steady breathing. He sighs and nods, looking over to Yumm. "She should be fine..." he says, smiling around to Yumm, Kohaku, and Kyo.
[2010/02/21 23:33] Kohaku Hisakawa stand there with her arms crossed, looking over at the restored Kaiya. She was certainly glad they had succeeded in saving her. She did not know Kaiya, but what kind of Shinigami would she be if she didnt do something? After all it was the Shinigami's duty to protect others, even complete strangers. She turns and heads for a senkai gate that had opened nearby, she figured she had better head back to her lab before he Captain Commander had noticed she was gone and let the friends have their reunion. She takes her leave, not really saying anything to the others so as not to interrupt, shewas sure she would meet them all again in the future.
[2010/02/21 23:37] Kyo falls over himself as he tries to get and rushes over to Kaiya with a big smile on his face "She's Back..... we did it she's back" Kyo looks a his comrade as a tear forms inside his eyepatch though nobody could see.
[2010/02/21 23:38] Yumm nods slowly as he sinks to his knees, happy tears flowing freely down his face. "We did it......" he murmurs, before laughing lightly. "See Willow....I always keep my promises." he says happily to the unconscious woman, reaching out to gently take her hand again.
[2010/02/21 23:43] Kaiya slowly opens her eyes, blue and kind as they blurrily search to figure out where she may be. Their voices echoing in her ears, and slowly solidify, turning her eyes up and around to those close by her, "Willow.." She smiles a little, tired, but gentle, "You all.. saved me."
[2010/02/21 23:45] Wulf nods and smiles down to her. He looks over to Yumm and places a hand on the not-bunny's shoulder. "Good job..." he says, before looking over to Kyo also.
[2010/02/21 23:50] Kyo smiles as he looks at Kaiya "How do you feel Kaiya?" he asks with a hint of concernbut mostly joy.
[2010/02/21 23:50] Yumm nods over at Wulf, still grinning. before turning back to watching Kaiya. "Sorry it took so long.....that monster just wouldn't lay down and die for us....but You're back now, and that's all that matters....." he replies quietly, scrubbing at the back of his eyes with the sleeve of the hand not holding her own, and giving out a soft sniffle. He doesn't even seem to register that he still has her hand right now."Are you okay?"
[2010/02/21 23:54] Kaiya slowly works to sit up, looking down over her form. Her free hand lifting, touching her face, even checking her stomach for the scars that were there, "..It's like.. it never happened." Puzzled, but relieved. She slowly shifts her hand down, and sighs in relief as it hits the hilt of.. two swords? Blinking, she glances down with puzzlement, "What.. my Zanpaktou is diferent."
[2010/02/21 16:27] As they step through the white rift, an explosion of light surrounds them.. They all hear the same voice, the reversed echoing one that fills them with a sense of warmth and kindness, a lingering innocence within the pure essence. As it fades however, they find themselves atop a building far above the city. Should they fall... things could get ugly. The clouds above the building begin to swirl with blackness, lightning strikes lashing out towards the ground angrily as if something big.... really big... were tearing through the air. A sense of pure, unrepressed rage, the reiatsu causing the air to shudder under its strength.
[2010/02/21 16:32] Wulf (Evan) stepped out and looked up at the sky. As it grew more ominous, his eyes narrowed. He felt the air around him and the building underneath his feet shake under the sheer reiatsu from whatever was on its way. He took a calming breath and waited.
[2010/02/21 16:35] Senryuu 's body flew out of an opening and smashed into the surface of a rough texture, he felt around a bit feeling something wet and red, "Oh shit." His hotdog spilled allover his new jacket. He took a moment to calm himself and try and scrub out the stains, the mysterious abduction didn't bother him, because everything these dyas was weird, "Where am I." He noticed wulf. He stood up slowly looking off the side of a building, he quickly moved his hand over his mouth, "I hate height..."
[2010/02/21 16:39] Kyo steps out the rift and looks about "Well at least im dressed this time....and dry" despite his horrid ability to sense reiatsu Kyo could feel the aproaching clouds reiatsu. a sight shiver runs down his spine and he looks up at the swirling clouds. "this is gonna be fun" he grins as his right hand rests on his zanpakuto's hilt
[2010/02/21 16:42] Yumm lands lightly as his portal deposits him on the roof, frowning around at the random group of people....and at the edge of the building, he pales visibly as he glances at the massive swirling vortex, shuddering under the strength of the massive reiatsu. "Ah....Hey Wulf.......I think that problem we were talking about solved itself........." he mumbles loudly, hand resting on the schneider hilts clipped on his belt.
[2010/02/21 16:46] The cloud swirls, and black ooze begins dripping from the center as if it were birthing something. The ooze smells rancid, the reiatsu from it is dark, and forboding like the creatures. Out of the clouds, the vile black ooze begins to clump disgustingly, pulsing and flexing, before dropping a slime covered being onto the center of the roof. It's unmoving or the moment, and the ooze makes it difficult to see what it could be.
[2010/02/21 16:50] Wulf (Evan) stepped back, and drew a schneider from off of his right shoulder. He kept it deactivated for now, the device hanging off of his index finger. "Everyone, be on guard." he said, looking around to the group of people that ended up on the roof.
[2010/02/21 16:54] Senryuu 's flickered up to the mass of ooze that had gathered before him, "What is that, did someone take a crap." he joked, with a sarcastic sneer. He was sort of ticked that he was pulled away from his peaceful evening. Lifting both is hands up he fixed his jacket brushing off the dust that had crept onto it from when he fell, "So what is that." He said dazily, only haven woken up about twenty minutes earlier. He pressed his left hand to his jaw shifting it over to crack it back into place and then he edged his neck back and forth to crack the bones within.
[2010/02/21 17:00] Kohaku Hisakawa was unable to keep her curiosity at bay. She stepped through the white rift and was instantly transported to the rooftop. Softly she lands on the concrete, only the sound of loose material crunsching under her feet was audible. She takes a look around and spots the others nearby...most of whome were at least somewhat familiar to her. Before she has a chance to say anything, she is distracted by the black ooze forming nearby then immediately taps the side of her scanning tool to get a reading on its molecular makeup.
[2010/02/21 17:01] Kyo watches the the rancid ooze and takes a step back before drawing his Zanpakuto and resting it over his right shoulder "I... Can honestly say that smells Terrible...." he waves a hand infornt of his face to fan the air.
[2010/02/21 17:03] Yumm wrinkles his nose and takes a small step back, drawing the schneider blade but like Wulf, not activating it yet. he holds it lossely in one hand, eyeing the ooze cautiously and tensing as he waits for some sort of movement. "What....is that thing?"
[2010/02/21 17:09] Kohaku's readings would find its... a gigai? The crimson locks of hair beginning to peek through as her broken, practically skyclad form slowly is revealed by the dissipating black ink. It's Willow... or Kaiya as some know her. Unmoving, barely breathing, covered in horrific scars from the experiments and torture she was put through. The clouds swirl faster, the reiatsu remaining constant for a moment. The clouds pulsate around the center, contract, and more ooze begins to drip free falling over the woman's form to hide it within the darkness again. Blackened tendrils flowing out rom the ooze, cocooning around her rapidly, protectively, and much like a giant cage. Atop it lands another creature, red eyes peering out as the building roof dents slightly under the force against the coccoon. It churrs and makes unusual sounds at the crowd. Black claws dripping with the inky ooze as if it were blood dripping off its fingertips. Red eyes squint at them, feet shifting just a little before it seems to

To those that could tell, the reishi in the area starts to grow more dense as the Quincy Paladin draws it in toward them on the rooftop. He draws a second schneider from behind his back, keeping this one deactivated as well. This battle, he could tell, will decide Willow/Kaiya's fate.
[2010/02/21 17:18] Senryuu stood still, shifting the weight between his legs every now and then so he wouldn't tire himself out standing. His eyes narrowed a normal reaction, 'Nobody even laughed at my joke...' Senryuu let out an abrupt sigh, look severely depressed. He started to smell something, a strong odor was clouding his nostrils, 'That smell...' The thought buzzed through his mind, he didn't know what to make of it but it was vaguely familiar. "Wait! I know." His nonchalant look soon became an upbeat expression with a broad smile, "It smells like burnt cookies." Senryuu lept forward scooping up a small fragment of ooze on his finger. He put it in his mouth and imeditaly puked, "Ugh...not even close to burnt cookies. Jeez...so misleading." He stepped back wiping off the signs of him puking, pushing it into the ooze as he stepped backwards pretending like nothing happened. 'That was close, I don't think anyone noticed.' He eyes shot back and forth, pretending to look serious like the others.
[2010/02/21 17:23] Kyo looks into the Red Eyes of the the creature atop the Cocoon. Kyo had a flash back to the time he was in the other Dimension where all he could see was the red eye's piercing through the darkness. "Oi.... I think i've seen that thing before!' Kyo grips his zanpakuto tightly and widens his stance a bit ready for just about anything.
[2010/02/21 17:29] Kohaku Hisakawa sort of stood back and kept her distance, stilll studying the creature that seemed to be holding a familiar looking young woman in it's putrid clutches. It would appear that a quick and simple strike against the thing would also harm the girl....which was a shame because now would likely be a good time to attack. In response to Kyo's state of alarm, she would grasp the hilt of her zanpakuto and ready herself for attack, however she would be content jsut sitting back and letting the boys handle this, besides, she hated fighting and would rather study the creature for weaknesses to exploit. "I don't like this one bit....." she says in a low tone which was barely audible.
[2010/02/21 17:32] Yumm growls softly and the schneider in his hand suddenly springs to life, the glowing blue swordblade flickering brightly as he takes a challenging step forward, He squeezes his eyes shut momentarily, and opens them again, the spirit ribbons of the present company springing to life before his eyes. "Fucker....what do we have to do to kill you."
[2010/02/21 17:36] The creature remained atop the coccoon, eyes shifting to them with a strange chirping sound, tail swaying slowly back and forth as it begins to spin, spreading the fibers of flesh, fur, and feathers up around it like wings, then slowly settles again. When Yumato takes a threatening step forward, the creature freezes and slowly lifts onto its legs more fully, standing upright like some strange lizard. The fins on its body sharply spreading, "I can kill her.." The voice echoes, one not of men nor women, but both. Piercing red eyes seem locked on Yumato, a flurry of shadows beginning to grow from the coccoon, moving in a spiral up and around the creature hinting at just how dangerous it may very well be, "Shinigami.... Quincy..." Eyes shifting to each, pausing on Senryuu. A dark, disturbing chuckle.
[2010/02/21 17:41] Wulf stands still, feeling a shiver run up his spine as the creature spoke - the combination of voices from the creature eerie. He activates both schneiders that he held, still rather relaxed, the blades hanging from his hands by their ends. He looks around, waiting to see what everyone else will do.
[2010/02/21 17:43] Senryuu 's mind finally wrapped around the situation after he moved ahead of his uneasiness and sickly atmosphere, "Oh...so its already time." He mumbled softly to himself finally staring towards the figure for the first time since he arrived, 'I think the quincy have it for now.' He thought rembering Wulf's plan vaguely when he explained it trying to recall the exact scenario. Senryuu lifted his right hand moving it to the opposite side of his body to help his left hand slip out of his jacket. Once he slipped out of one end her performed the same action to the other side. The mometn he dropped his jacket it fluttered off with the wind slipping off the edge of the building. 'Oh dang my new jacket...dam wind.' He paused as he had let his mind wander yet again, "What are you guys sitting her for aren't you quincy gonna stab it or something." Senryuu's gaze drifted towards Wulf then to the midget quincy, noticing the big gathered crowd, 'What a culmination of people.' He chuckled.
[2010/02/21 17:53] Kohaku Hisakawa continues to watch. She wasn't quite sure if the others had some sort of plan, but she hoped that they weren't just standing around frozen, like a bunch of dear hypnotized by a car's headlights. During her analysis, she had noticed two things that were rather strange about the creature. First, that it appeared to be made mostly out of shadows, with several extensions of itself completely made from shadows, and there appeared to be a sort of symbiosis going on here. THe second thing she noticed was that the young girl's life force was slowly being sucked away, which is likely indacative that the creature was using her as "fuel" so to speak. This was obviously vital information that she should probably tell the others, but she thought she might wait until the creature was occupied so she would have a chance to relay the information. She remains on guard, hand still clutching her zanpakutou.
[2010/02/21 17:59] Kyo holding his zanpakuto in his right hand lifts it off his shoulder "Ok I've had enough of this" and with that he lunges up in the air flying towards the creature on the cocoon. he would swing upward at the creatures right side and from blow. Hoping to catch the creature off guard and to see how the creature would react. It wasnt the brightest idea but Kyo figures he could probably get some kinda combat information.
[2010/02/21 18:04] Yumm lunges at the cage while the shinigami distracts the monster, trying to shear through the darkness holding her captive so he could reach her. he really didn't care so much about beating the creature as long as it still had her, his main priority would be getting her back and away from it.
[2010/02/21 18:08] As Senryuu had disturbed the goo earlier, suddenly a few pieces break off and start lying towards him like little alien blobs intending to try to cover him. One lunges towards his face in particular, and if it attaches, it'd try to suction itself over his face making it hard to breath. The others going for other random parts of his body, clinging if they manage to get to him. Kyo's attempt to surprise it makes the creature shriek, snapping the shadow tentacles up trying to intercept him, and knock him back with a good, solid bitch smack. This would distract it, but Yumm's attempt to simply stab at the cocoon would only minorly chip it. Just a little. It was hard as a rock, and the texturing felt like coconut shells, tough, fabricy.. A sudden pulse of reiatsu bursts out, it's massive, then gets sucked back in rapidly causing the creature to scream with growing anger, "Clever!" It yells, "You cannot save her."
[2010/02/21 18:16] Wulf hirenkyakus around to the creatures opposite side, the two schneiders flashing to life and moving toward the creature. He spins the blades around his index fingers to add some extra momentum to his strike, and brings them both down, aimed to strike at the creature's shoulders. He isn't sure what the shadow-beast is capable of, though from that quick burst of reiatsu he could tell that this would not be an easy battle in any sense of the word.
[2010/02/21 18:16] Senryuu 's body tilts slightly to the left as a blob slipped by his face, "Seriously what is this crap." He gave a slightly disgusted look rembering its foul taste. His hand lit up with a blackened reiatsu resembling that of a black flame with the same intensity. Senryuu resembled a kid playing whack-a-mole as his enflamed fist smashed into the tiny blobs, "Yuck..." The were like swarms of bee's, just keep coming, 'Are these things trying to make me go nuts. This is why hate small things.' He yelled inside his mind expecting an answer, but again he was astonished that he had no reply. Moving about in a circle every so often he step on a slime blob or crunch his fist into the building. "Thats the last of them." He muttered, taking in a deep breath he caught himself up with the situation. 'I should probably do something, I can't stand these midget blobs.' Senryuu lifted his left hand slowly scratching his head trying to think quickly as the situation demanded the only thing that came to mind was blowing it up.
[2010/02/21 18:26] Kohaku Hisakawa watches the reactions of the creature closely. She decided to draw her blade, slowly, so as not to draw any attention to herself. At the right moment, she would likely try to attack....but she needed a strategy...and she was drawing a blank. If this was a shadow creature.....would a bright light cause it to go away? Or maybe total darkness....it was impossible to tell. She was beginning to feel a bit helpless, but for now she would stay distant and simply watch.
[2010/02/21 18:28] Kyo gets bitch slapped back to the ground. Kyo stands up and dusts his jacket off. "That was somewhat expected... alright yeah i'm certain i've fought this thing before" a grin runns across Kyo's face as his reiatsu flares. "Rage Zantoryu!" Kyo release his shikai. His zanpakuto's blade glows red. Once again he lunges at the creature swing upward. hs speed would be much faster. As he begins to swing his body disappears and appears over the Creature swing down at its back hoping he had tricked and that he could catch it off guard with the sudden change in attack direction.
[2010/02/21 18:29] Yumm shudders back a step, squeezing his eyes tightly against the naseauted feeling from the burst of reiatsu, before shaking his head and glaring at the ribbons around him, it had been the key so far.....so he had to assume it had some sort of holding in this to, he would try to focus on the ribbons coming from the caccoon itself, his blade flickering out at any of them that happened to be nearby, aiming specifically at the points where the parasitic things seemed to be attached to it. trying to cut through both of them at the same time. It was the only thing he could think of to weaken the cacoon...and he had to rely on the others to keep it off of him for the time being.
[2010/02/21 18:35] Wulf's blades would touch upon its arm, and as it seemed to slice, black ooze begun to spray out with more of the smaller blobs following in its wake, trying to cover him in it. The creature laughs a bit, its psychotic and disturbing to hear. Kyo's Reiatsu flare made it snicker. As he appeared over the creatures back, he'd suddenly be assulted with a spray of shadow blobs which did not stop his attack, but intended fully to cover him in the inky darkness, particularly flying towards his face in attempt to blind him. Yumato's attempt left a surprising result. The creature suddenly turned towards him, using its tail to try to smack him when he attacked the ribbons coming of the coccoon. The creature seems furious, igniting its second form as massive black, shadowy wings rip from its back, also potentially throwing Kyo back again. They shimmer into existance with ooze dripping off of them, the tail growing in size.. it's reiatsu rapidly increasing to an unsettling amount that would equal that of Kyo
[2010/02/21 18:35] It meant business, and now Yumato was in its sights. If the tail had missed the young Quincy, the creature would snap a large, clawed hand out towards him attempting to grab him, and lift. Should he accomplish this, Yumato was in for a whirl of hurt as his body would begin feeling the roof of the building repeatedly slamming into him.
[2010/02/21 18:42] Wulf 's eyes widen as the spray of blobs fly toward him. The reishi in the air that was more dense than flocks toward him creating a full body shield that the ooze would land on, giving the impression that he was completely covered by whatever it was. The reishi would blast outward, flinging the ooze from him and he holds his hand pointed toward the creature. "Tilt the Goblet to the West - Emerald Grail!" he chants, a blast of electricity flying toward the creature that would explode if contact is made.
[2010/02/21 18:42] Senryuu stood slowly, 'I got it...distraction time.' He watched all the others movements, most of which had moved to the defensive. Leaping forward he halted before he came in contact with the ooze, lifting his foot he started to dril the guck with his foot, 'Take that...' The slime spread around as he attacked it at random, 'This should be a good distraction,' Senryuu's smirk stretched across his face as his body moved deeper into the ooze. Both his hands were covered in black flames smacking at the oozo, he looked like a retard hitting mud but it wa the best plan he could form since she reacted violently the first time when he only touched it, "Die, disgusting slime." He exclaimed sounding like a imbecil. Senryuu's pants were drenched in a foul stench, but he didn't mind since his nose was slightly congested it still reminded him of burnt cookies. "Ugh..." He said aloud, 'I'm gonna need to take a shower after this, not coming out of my jeans that easily. Bad stains.' His eyes were only slightly open.
[2010/02/21 18:51] Kohaku Hisakawa finally decides to take action. She rips off her eyepatch then kneels to the ground, laying her sword down next to her. Quickly she begins taking it apart with a multi-tool she had pulled out of her jacket pocket. She had figured that the creature would be weakened by either intense light or intense darkness. She begins to modify her patch into a sort of flash-bang grenade which hopefully would weaken the creature and give the others a bit of leverage when she decides to use it. So far the creature had not reacted to her, in fact it only seemed to retaliate when provoked, and so she would have plenty of time to finish what she was doing.
[2010/02/21 18:56] Kyo follows through with his attack but reaches up with his left had to his right shoulder grabbing the coat drapped over his shoulders and moving infront of him like a sheild to block the inky blobs that were sprayed at him. He wouldnt see the wings because his coat blocked his vision. He goes flying back from the hit tumbling backwards in air and letting go of his coat. He manages to regain control and burst throught the air again "Shakkohou!" a red orb begins to form in his left hand. Kyo would then slice at the creatures wings and back in a horrizontal attack which kyo would attempt to follow up with the shakkohou. Kyo would attempt a point blank attack by attempting to press it against the the creatures back.
[2010/02/21 18:57] Yumm was pretty much depending on the others to keep it distracted...so he wasn't really watching it, he was concentrating on the spirit ribbons he was slicing and dicing, so the lashing tail would slam full force into him, catching him across his back at the shoulders and propelling him a decent length across the roof, where he hits the ground bodily and rolls a few times, before slowly moving to get to his feet again, His dropped seele schnieder lay deactivated about halfway between himself and the creature.
[2010/02/21 19:03] The blobs would cover, then split and dissolve under the impact of the reishi explosion around Wulf. As the charge flies towards it, the wings would flap, sending a spiralling whirlwind towards Wulf attempting to knock him off the roof, and force others back away from it. The goo Senryuu was slapping with his burning hands suddenly hardens and shoots out like spikes, trying to impale him. Kyo's next attack would cut into the wing, forcing the ooze to spray as it did with Wulf the first time, the kidou however successfully hits, forcing the creature to turn its focus away from Yumato, dripping blackened blood from its back. The wings would attempt to close in around Kyo by pressing them back against each other. Dark tentacles shooting up from around the cocoon again, hoping to trap the Taicho's shikai. Another burst of reiatsu, powerful enough to shake the building they stood on. The creature's mouth would open and begin inhailing deeply, puing out its chest slowly sucking in air rapidly as it did
[2010/02/21 19:17] Wulf staggers backward from the blast of wind, but uses the reishi around him as a wall to fall against, and also as a reishi wedge to deflect the blast of wind from his front. He turns quickly from that to see Yumm flung backward. He glares and turns back toward the creature, his yellow eyes gaining a certain feral glint. He stabs his right handed schneider into the roof of the building and forms his bow quickly on that hand, pulling his left handed schneider back and aiming at the monster's torso, around where its heart should be. He lets the arrow fly, the schneider absorbing reishi from the air as it flys toward the creature.
[2010/02/21 19:19] Senryuu 's legs had been enveloped in the goo and completely hardened, halting his movement, "Dang." The spears shot out, some cracking and breaking when his fists cam into contact with them others moving through his gaurd. "Shit..." One spear sliced his side the other pierced his left should close to his heart, 'So this is the price I pay for sacrificing my powers. So be it.' He mind became at ease, his left hand chopped down breaking the spear that had gone through his shoulder and pushing it out the other side. The only thing he could do at the moment was focus his strenth on breaking the hardened slime below. Senryuu's direct attention fell to that, constant blows caused the toughened ooze to crack slowly, but it came loose. Manuevering both his hands behind him he pulled his legs free standing atop the ooze, 'Now what.' He thought,'If I wage any deeper she'll harden it again and I might not be able to escape, but if I retreat she might send those things at me.' He shivered at the thought,"Screw it." He le
[2010/02/21 19:19] Senryuu: pt completely into the ooze, his entire body lit up in black flames his clothing burning off as he submerged in the pile of crap hoping to set it all aflame before it killed him, "This better not kill me or I'll be pissed." He yelled his last words before his body dissapeared.
[2010/02/21 19:31] Kohaku Hisakawa strained to keep herself planted to the ground as the blast of wind erupts toward her, her haori flapping violently behind her. She grimaced a bit, then stood up, having finally finished the modifications to her patch. Suddenly her form would no longer become visible, and a whisp of air would be only thing heard from her as she flashsteps close to the creature. She would then appear in mid air, grasping her patch in her hand and then she would throw it as hard as she could into the ground. Once the patch impacted, it would explode in a blinding flash of light. This was of course simply a distraction, but she was hoping it would have some adverse reaction on the creature. Regardless, after throwing the patch, she would tuck and roll as she fell to the ground, hoping to gain a bit of distance, because she imagine the creature would be pretty pissed off at her.
[2010/02/21 19:36] Kyo the wings wrap around Kyo traping him like a fly. The spray of the blood/ooze stuff covered his left arm as he brought it back to block. Noticing he was trapped Kyo thinks of only one thing to do "Pulse!" his zanpakuto's blade would glow red brighter and brighter as if it were charging up. Then a large concussive blast would burst from his blade outward. Kyo would get some backlash from the attack but it should give the creature an unpleasent supprise and hopefully the attack would blast the wings away so he could get out.
[2010/02/21 19:39] Yumm gets back to his feet and charges towards his schnieder, drawing the second seele schneider hilt from his belt and grabbing up the fallen one as he refocused on the ribbons, aiming once again to attack and sever as many of the spirit ribbons from the cacoon as he can. roaring in frustrationa dn anger. "The ribbons dammit! Someone cut the fucking ribbons!"
[2010/02/21 19:40] Lifted its massive hand when the arrow was sent towards it trying to grab it, but instead it impales the creatures hand and flies through it, stabbing into the creatures gut. It keeps sucking in the air, though, clentching its hand at the pain as the blackened blood drips free. When Senryuu attempts to fall into it, the goo around him suddenly hardens rapidly, attempting to trap him.. and the creature, should it work, begins to try to feed off his reiatsu much like it was doing to the girl trapped inside the coccoon. It saw Kohaku's patch hit the ground, which gave it hardly any time to react. The flash sending it staggering, shifting around blindly. It had by this time gathered enough air into its lungs, letting an explosion of dramatic wings assult the group like a tornado, trying to send them all flying off. However the sudden blast shreds the creatures wings, and the wind loses momentum after the initial, rapid spin. It screams out painfully as parts of its wings fall away, slapping the ground
[2010/02/21 19:40] und them like pieces of a disgusting beast that just got blown to bits. The wings shake and tremble as if the nerves in it were reacting much like a worm would if it got parts of itself lopped off. Yumato begun cutting the ribbons, which immediately drew the creature's focus again, snapping its hand out to try to grab him.. and should he, its mouth would open wide, attempting to consume the Quincy.
[2010/02/21 19:48] Wulf pushed through the blast of wind as best he could with a reishi wedge, not getting anywhere, but not losing much ground either. He held out his hand, connecting a reishi string to the seele schneider that he shot off and pulled it back toward him out of the creature's body, the blade landing harmlessly on the rooftop. He hirenkyakued over to Yumm, and jumped back off, trying to pull his squire out of the way of the creature's mouth.
[2010/02/21 19:48] Senryuu 's body is surrounded by the goo and completely hardened, the black flames made up of his reiatsu start to simmer as his reiatsu is being sucked from him, 'Oh shit...who came up with this plan, baka.' His body felt like a clay structure, 'Oh I did.' A permanate frown lay stretched across his face, 'At least it will only suck out the small sum of spiritual energy that I have if the seal stays in place.' He smiled happily though with his current strength he could not break free without releasing the seal and putting them in more danger was not something he wanted to do. Senryuu sat in the ooze willingly, 'What now...well I could count to a billion. Yes 1,2,3,4,5.' He started counting in his head nothing else to do.
[2010/02/21 19:57] Kohaku Hisakawa was nearly knocked off the roof by the wind, which was just powerful enough to cause her to lose her balance when she landed from the last attack. At the last second she caught the ledge and saved herself from the fall, but she had lost her haori in the process. She would then pull herself up slowly and watch as teh creature stumbled around seemingly blinded...her plan had worked a bit better than she anticipated! She grips the hilt of her zanpakuto and rushes toward the spirit ribbons and would attempt to start hacking away at them.
[2010/02/21 20:04] Kyo bursts away from the creature int to air above and hover. His right arm covered in several cuts and some blood was trickling down his foehead. His attack had had done what it was intended to but had also wounded himself in the process. After coughing for a bit he regain s his composure and looks to the creature and laughs "I bet ya felt that one Didnt ya!" His hand was barely holding onto the zanpakuto at this point. It had taken abit more damage than Kyo had anticipated. "Crawling Rope" he chuckles. A rope of energy forms from his right hand wrapping around it and the Zanpakuto. He looks to the creature with a wide grin. "Round 3.... Lets Go!" Kyo flies to the creature with tremendous speed and swings ferociously at it once he was with in strikcing distance. Swinging repeatedly and randoms at the creatures body (11 attempted strikes)
[2010/02/21 20:05] Yumm blinks as he's suddenly yanked out of the way by Wulf, trying to dash back as soon as he had regained his footing to go to work at the spirit ribbons again, running towards the cacoon and slashing at any gray spirit ribbons he happens to pass along the way with both of his blades, he was -obsessed- with freeing her, at pretty much any cost. he lets both seele schneiders flicker and blur as he slashes out with them both, that same sort of desperate speed creeping into his strikes once again as his arms blur faster and faster. and if He can actually make it to the caccoon without interuption, he'll try to slice it open and pull Willow out.
[2010/02/21 20:10] When the schneider gets yanked from it, it screatches painully, staggering and shaking its head quickly. The Reiatsu bursts again, this time more.. The whole building trembling as its finaly level ignites, sending a massive shadowy dragon up from the cocoon, letting it wrap itself around the blinded, wounded creature. It lets out an ear shattering shreik, trying to throw them off a bit before it'd make its attack on Kohaku who's managing to do quite the number on the ribbons o the cocoon, adding to the damage Yumato had managed. The dragon lashes out towards her, trying to knock her back. Massive, spider like legs would start to burst out of its body, and wings to follow much larger, and very similar to the wings the creature had before they were blown off. As the dragon attempts to this, and Kyo comes at the creature to strike, the dragon attempts to to stab him with one of the massive, pointy, spider like legs, but likely misses as it's distracted with Kohaku at the moment. [2010/02/21 20:10] ome of the legs being lopped off in the process as the creature finds itself shreiking out in pain at the assults upon it, leaving deepening wounds with each hit. The black flames Senryuu once had, suddenly burst around the cocoon in attempt to force the two away from it, using Senryuu's reiatsu to fuel it and keep it going.
[2010/02/21 20:17] Wulf jumps backward, his own reiatsu flaring and shaking the building. He hirenkyakus over to his seele schneider that lay on the rooftop, and picks it up. He holds out both hands, reishi strings attaching themselves to the two seele schneider he was holding and the three still in their holsters. He brings them both forward and the five quincy blades floated slowly around him. He focused on the places around the cocoon that had the highest concentration of the shadow-beasts reiatsu and sent the five blades flying toward it, aiming at those points with slashes of the flying weapons.
[2010/02/21 20:18] Senryuu started to feel a bit light-headed or full-headed he didn't know what to think, 'Did I dive in this...' He thought for a moment thn came to a realization, 'Shit, I am upsidedown.' All the blood started to flow to his head as he fiented briefly, several minutes later he woke again, "Ugh...man the whole planning thing isn't my strong point." His voice was muffled against the hardened ooze it resembled cement to him, 'Oh what number was I at 216,217,218. Dam how how a number is a billion, are they done yet.' His mind was boggled going from one topic to the next, but I guess that happens when you can't do anything, 'Now I know how statues feel.' He started to sulk.
[2010/02/21 20:27] Kohaku Hisakawa becomes overwhelmed by teh creatures spiritual pressure, and it unable to react in time to dodge it's attack. At the last second she manages to place her arms in front of her in an "X" formation hoping to soften the blow a bit. The impact from the attack still sends her flying back several yards until she finally crashes into the roof, leaving a small crater and a plume of dust and debri rises from it. As she lay in the crater, a tad bit bloodied, she decides she would play dead for now until she can find another way to exploit the creature.
[2010/02/21 20:33] Kyo was cut off from his assult on the creature when the shadow beast's spider leg clipped his left side tearing through his haori and robes leaving a gash on his side. Kyo would respond by spinning around with his blade reaching outward in an attempt to lop off the leg. The reiatsu it gave off was intense. "Oh this jsut keeps getting better and better" he laughs but his movements become a bit sluggish for a moment due to the heavy reiatsu of the creature
[2010/02/21 20:37] Yumm staggers slightly against the wave of reiatsu, but would keep pressing sluggishly forward. before reaching the flames, he would pull out a silver tube from his pocket, poitning it at the flames before him. "May the impurity of mankind be washed away - Hydro!" he murmurs, letting the blast of water rush out from the tube and onto the flames, regardless of wether or not it actually puts them out, he would close in on the cacoon again, if the flames aren't put out, he would draw in his reishi and solidify it around him to try and protect him for a small window at least, His main goal is to slice into the caccoon and free Willow, regardless of physical injury to himself.
[2010/02/21 20:41] The five blades would head towards it, but the dragon would not so easily allow its master to be struck, moving its tail into the path to knock some of the shneiders away. However deflecting all five was still difficult, especially against a man who could match the strength of the beast. Three of the five managed to get passed the dragon, sinking in deep leaving the creature again the shreik in pain. Senryuu's form still kept close inside it, would suddenly begin to glow as the creature tried to feed more hurriedly, as would the cocoon that trapped Willow, trying to compensate for the damage it has taken throughout the fight. Now they had two people to save, to prevent them of being drained of the reiatsu that gave them life. Kyo's attack clips the leg, enough to make it useless as the dragon turns to try to snap its jaws over Kyo, hoping to catch him in its mouth and crush him with its jaws. Yumato's attempt to extinguish the flames works, but the cocoon remains solid even as the ribbons are butc
[2010/02/21 20:41] continuously. He has the right idea, but the shell seems to be gaining strength suddenly. Senryuu's form and Willow's both are glowing now. The creature turns back, snatching a hand out towards Yumato to try to grab him, and if successful, it would attempt to slam him repeatedly into the roof.
[2010/02/21 20:49] Wulf lets the reishi strings around the seele schneiders dissipate, dropping them momentarily from his control. He draws his sixth and final seele schneider from under the cloak at his side and activates it, the blade much larger than a normal one. He dissapears with a hirenkyaku and reappears between the claw and Yumm, bringing his blade up in defense, but also to hopefully remove the creatures claw from its body.
[2010/02/21 21:02] Kohaku Hisakawa stands up from the crater in the roof of the building, and finds herself struggling to do so. Even still, she had managed to gathering a substantial amount of reiatsu during her recovery time. Without warning, and intense yellow aura surround her entire body, which begind to flicker around quite violently, as if she were covered in flames. She raises her zanpakutou in front of her "calm the raging waters...Seigetsu!" she shouts. Now her zanpakutou becomes covered in water, concealing it from sight, and then it would elongate as it begins to transform into a three bladed halberd type weapon. Now, she would grip the weapon with both hands, holding above her and twirling it around overhead. Onlookers might be confused about what she was doing exactly, but she was hoping the creature was kept busy enough to give her time
[2010/02/21 21:02] Kyo looks up at the mouth of the dragon as it approaches and jumps to the side slashing at the air and releasing a condensed wave of orange and red reiatsu at the beast's mouth. the baslt would be sharp as his blade and would move with with a fair amount of speed
[2010/02/21 21:09] Yumm steps off one of Wulf's shoulders as he launches himself into the air, his bow springing to life on his hand, he switches both schneiders to one hand. And draws them both back on his bow, letting them plunge downward and at the beast, hoping to implant them both in the creature's chest as he begins his descent, his bow dissapears and his hand drifts towards the third schneider hilt at his side, drawing it quickly and pouring his reishi into it, causing a long metal handle to shoot out of it, and a large glowing scythe blade to suddenly burst from the head, He would draw back with it, hoping the creature would stay distracted for the moment, and as he falls towards it, try to bury the blade of it into the dragon's head.
[2010/02/21 21:14] The claw would come off rather easily having not expected Wulf to suddenly appear in front of it. It lets out a painful scream, moving to snap its other hand out towards Wulf trying to grab him now instead of Yumato. Kohaku wouldn't get paid much attention as the creature was focused on not being killed by those directly assulting it. Kyo's attack would strike true as the beasts jaw went to clamp down and felt the top portion of its head severed suddenly, causing its body to turn into nothing more than a pile of goo as it splashes down and begins to bubble, burning against the roof like acid. Yumato's first two hits would embed into the creatures chest, forcing it to stagger back and stumble off the cocoon which seperated it. As it did so, its mouth would open and purge Senryuu from its form, essentially puking him up on top of the cocoon itself. When Yumato attempts to strike the dragon, he would instead find air as the goo collapses to the ground. The creature's body was fatally wounded at this
[2010/02/21 21:14] t. It would still have tried to grab Wulf, and cling to him if it manages, trying to use him as a sheild.
[2010/02/21 21:22] Wulf tenses as the creature's claw comes to grab him, and quickly mutters a few words under his breath. He holds his blade in such a manner that the creature would still grab onto him, but the blade itself would pierce through the shadow's arm. "Firestorm!" he yelled, the air around the blade of the larger seele schneider warping from heat waves and suddenly erupting with dark blue fire, that would essentially burn the creature's arm off should all this work.
[2010/02/21 21:34] Kohaku Hisakawa would leap forward at a 45 degree angle with water trailing behind her, water she had used propel herself forward. BEfore reaching the creature, she would point her weapon at it and yell "bakusai furu!!!" which is the command for her signature move. While twirling the weapon, she had been gathering as much moisture as she could from the atmosphere and simultaneously heating it to boiling temperatures with her reiatsu. So now, with her command given, a powerful blast of pressurized and heated water would fire from her weapon and straight toward the top of teh creature. With her "pressure washer" type attack, she was able to decimate most enemies, and she had hoped it would leave a nice dent in her opponent. At the very least, she suspected it would become scalded from the heat.
[2010/02/21 21:41] Kyo Kyo turns his attention back to the creature and shunpos behind the creature almost in an instant. Looking at it Kyo aims his Zanpakuto at the creatures back as he speeds towards it. His balde still glowing a bright red Kyo would thrust his balde at the creatures back hoping to run it through.
[2010/02/21 21:45] Yumm would land, a bit heavier than he had imagined, turning to face the creature at about the same time as the captain's attack, he would reverse his hold on the scythe, godstepping through the scalding steam [assuming her attack hits of course] and swing his scythe upwards like a gold club, trying to take the creature through the stomach and jam the blade up under it's ribcage. and push it towards the edge of the building, further away from the caccoon, "I warned you before.....I will save her. you. cannot. Stop me." he growled angrily, before bringing his foot up and trying to slam it into the things chest, at the same time yanking on the scythe handle to try and rip it forcefully free of it's body, just in case the fall didn't kill it. "Now....Back to hell with you!"
[2010/02/21 21:51] Went to squeeze onto Wulf and keep him sheilding it, but as the sword went through its arm, it let out another pained cry, one weaker, a painful, pitiful look echoing over the faintest hints of its shadowy face. The burning ripping through its arm only intensified, the voice coming out, "No! No, she was my child! I created her! I MADE HER! YOU CAN'T HAVE HER!" The measure, heated water struck the side of the creature's face, ripping through the hood of the fabric and melting the flesh of from the heat painfully. The creature cries horrifically, staggering back again closer to the edge, "NO! SHE'LL DIE WITHOUT ME!" It yelled, the bone of its cheek and jaw becoming evident, gliscening in the light coming from the weapons weilded by its opponants. Kyo's attack struck again, and the creature screamed in pain, "No.. NOO!!" flailing its arms, it suddenly felt the other blade slice through its stomach. A moment of realism, the creatures body suddenly stops, eyes moving down to the Quincy that holds it
[2010/02/21 21:51] the edge of its life. As it jams up under its ribcage, black, bloody tears drip from its eyes.. A voice echoes behind them, the white Essence standing over the cocoon, "...may his blade carry you beyond hell.. into oblivion.. to relive the agony you have put us all through... " The pure essence lifts to fingers, her hand outstretching as she holds her palm up as if a prayer. A white, gentle mist flowing around her, "Seyonara.." Yumato's kick forces the guts to spill from the creature as his weapon is yanked free, and the words of the young Quincy echo in the ears of the creature's soul.. 'I warned you before.....I will save her. you. cannot. Stop me.' As it falls... it's body begins to tear apart like ash, 'Now....Back to hell with you!', slamming into the ground, its entire form plooming out and splattering at the same time, leaving what remained solid, barely identifiable as anything but burned flesh. The fight.. was finally over.
[2010/02/21 21:58] Wulf stands there, panting a little as he deactivates the large schneider and tucks it under the cape on his right arm. He uses reishi strings to retrieve his other five schneiders and guide them into their respective holsters. He lets out a sigh of relief, and walks over to the side of the building to look down at the remains of the beast. He picks the remains up via a reishi platform and float them over to Kohaku. He smiled as he spoke. "You do research right?"
[2010/02/21 22:13] Kohaku Hisakawa touches down rather gracefully on the roof of the building after her attack is complete. She doubles over and begins to pant heavily, the last attack had taken a lot out of her, but she was glad it was finally over. SHe looks over at Wulf as he approaches her and listens to him speak. She goes back to panting for a moment then straightens up and answers him "yes, i do, why do you ask"?
[2010/02/21 22:15] Kyo exhales as he relaxes the crawling rope tha tied his zanpakuto to his hand disappeared and his blade fell to the ground. "That was somethin" he smiles as his left hand reaches down for the zanpakuto. Kyo sheathes it and sit down on the battle worn roof. "Gah...." he continues to smile as he sits looin up into the sky "That was....... Fun"
[2010/02/21 22:18] Yumm sags visibly as the fighting ceases...the scyteh retracting in on itself until it looks once again like a normal, if not unevenly made seele schneider kilt, which he clips slowly back onto his belt, and reaching down, he picks up his other two scheele schneiders, which he had freed when he had ripped the things chest open, He turns slowly, clipping them both too his belt with a slightly burned and bloodied hand, staggering slowly towards the caccoon that still housed Willow. "R-right......we've.....ugh....we've finished it......."
[2010/02/21 22:19] The white essence slowly steps of the cocoon, kicking senryuu off the top of it with a 'gentle' motion. She kneels, white, misty tears beginning to drift from her eyes, "..we're dying.." pressing her hands to the cocoon, she begins to focus what small amount of energy she has left into it, trying to push energy into Willow still trapped inside. Her eyes lift sadly to the others, "..we have no time left.." The cocoon begins to crack, and a bone thin hand emerges slowly from it.. so weak, so frail.. One has to wonder the condition of the girl inside.
[2010/02/21 22:23] Wulf makes the platform of reishi that the remains are on float over in front of Kohaku. "I think you would like this. Can I ask you one thing though? You said that we were missing a piece to make a symbol. Is this the last piece?" he asks before turning to look at the cocoon and essence.
[2010/02/21 22:28] Kohaku Hisakawa holds a finger in front of Wulf and says "one moment please". She pulls out a silver tube which she drops on the ground beside her. The tube poofs into a portable lab station. "Let's find out..." she says and takes a piece of the sample and slides it under a microscope and then begins to examine it. "Hmm....you know what, I think it is the missing piece...."
[2010/02/21 22:31] Kyo continues to look up at the sky feeling kinda useless since he doesnt exactly know what they are talking about. All he knows is a symbol but he had already shared that information.
[2010/02/21 22:33] Yumm stumbles over to the caccoon, glancing at Willow. "I-Is there any way...I can help her........or you.....?" he asks quietly, moving to gently take Willow's hand very gently, more out of instinct than anything else.
[2010/02/21 22:36] The Essence looks up softly at the group, then down to the hand that has broken through the cocoon wall. The hand begins to sink down, allowing the cocoon to crumble more and finally collapse completely revealing a practically dead . The Essence turns back to Yumato, "..here for us... Yumato.." Willow is a skeleton of herself. Her skin is pale, her body covered in sweat with bones poking out disturbingly against her skin as if the muscle in her body had all but vanished. Her breathing is pained, and shallow, and blood drips down her cheeks from her eyes, and her nose coats her lips in blood struggling to stay alive. Her eyes are grayed and blinded. Her frail form seizes horribly as she struggles just to take in a breath.
[2010/02/21 22:38] Willow feels Yumato's grasp, but she can barely respond.. Her skin is cold and clammy to the touch./
[2010/02/21 22:40] Wulf quickly glances over toward the frail form of Willow, and then quickly back to Kohaku. "We need to figure out this puzzle now. Did you bring the other pieces with you?" he asks the 12th division captain, worry plastered all over his expressions and speech.
[2010/02/21 22:43] Kohaku Hisakawa nods "Yes, as a matter of fact I did" she says and pulls out a bag from her coat which contains all of the sample "I got them right here". She empties the contents of the bag onto the lab station. "Now we jsut need to figure out what to do with this stuff...."
[2010/02/21 22:46] Kyo thw smile fades fromhis face when he looks over at Willow/Kaiya's body. He remains quiet and waits.
[2010/02/21 22:48] Yumm sucks in a breath through his teeth at the sight of her, sincing and squating down next to her, taking her hand in both of his and bowing his head slightly, he was pretty much as useless as Kyo in this situation. "Just hang on a bit longer......we're not gonna let you die....." he murmurs quietly to her, doing pretty much the only thing he can. pushing away the horribly crushing fear for her.
[2010/02/21 22:49] The Essence would suddenly begin to gasp, looking down at Willow as her body starts to fall motionless. Grabbing tightly to the broken woman, she tries desperately to keep her energy flowing into Willow, beginning to fade against the wind. Willow's blind eyes would slowly start to close as those blind eyes shift to Yumato.. as if she could just barely hear him enough to know he was there, to understand.
[2010/02/21 22:56] Wulf looks over to Willow, and then back to Kohaku. "Dammit, we're out of time. We don't have time to think, just throw all of it together and pray. Maybe some of the pieces will just fall into place and make the symbol if that's really what we need to do."
[2010/02/21 22:59] Kohaku Hisakawa: "Works for me" she says, and the quickly crams all of the sample one one giant beaker, and mixes them together, taking a moment to stir them all together. She picks up teh beaker and says "now what? do we pour it on top of her or what?" she asks, as if he knew the answer.
[2010/02/21 23:03] Yumm glances up at the beaker, and then back to Willow. squeezing her hand gently. "Hang on....I think they can save you....just stick with us a moment longer." he begs, actually tearing up a bit as her eyes start to close. "You can't die now.......not after all that...."
[2010/02/21 23:04] Collapses on top of Willow, her form floating away with the wind piece by piece.. panting, misty tears falling from her red eyes.. Even she was now too weak to do anything. Willow's eyes fully shut.. her breathing stops.. the pure essence stills and collapses atop her, slowly fading away.
[2010/02/21 23:10] Yumm drops her hand vanishing on the spot and reappearing in front of the woman holding the vial, inches away from her and looming as he snatches the vial away, before turning on his heels and godstepping back, upending the entire thing and pouring it over her and Essence and sloshing some into Willow's mouth. "I said don't die.......I promised you wouldn't" D:
[2010/02/21 23:11] Kohaku Hisakawa blinks for a second suddenly realizing the vial had been snatched from her "well then....someone is in a hurry..." she says and laughs a bit.
[2010/02/21 23:20] As the liquid hit her, the pure Essence and even went into her mouth... nothing seemed to happen. When all seemed lost, and the pure essence disappears, it seemed as if the fight had gone on for nothing. All that... for her to die in the end. The remnance of damage atop the roof started to tremble, the the roof begun to rock beneath their feet, and shake, and shiver as if something big... HUGE were coming. The clouds overhead begin to loom and swirl, lightning crashing again as the clouds starting to shift and form, turning into a bright blue hue, creating an outline.. Circular, with the triangle shape inside.. Symbols dotted around between the points. It glows brighter, the area lighing up around them blindingly. As all seemed lost, an explosion of blue rays shoot down, surrounding Willow's deceased form. Her broken body lifts from the remains of the cocoon, moving closer to the symbol in the sky. Lifting, and slowly rocking forward with her legs down and her head up. Ash beginning to break fr
[2010/02/21 23:20] er body, the crimson locks falling away into the wind becoming pieces of cherry blossoms, swirling up and around her. Each piece revealing the real Kaiya, the Shinigami. Long, long crimson locks flowing out, caressing her skyclad form in thick locks. A whisper upon the wind, too quiet to understand, but enough to cast an essence of peace and joy. Her once broken form dissolving into a beautiful young woman, gifted with youth and innocence. Her long tail the last part to be revealed, covered in shiney, soft fur. An explosion of reiatsu sends shockwaves out from her form, the sound of something that one might call a backdraft sucking in the air, draws in the released reiatsu casting her form aglow. A roar, a happy roar as the phantom of winged anthro cat forms around her, eyes closed, then creeps away into the cherry blossoms which scatter, twinkle and disappear. THe glow of the blue fades, and Kaiya slowly drifts down, the clothing she disappeared with forming over her body. Upon the broken roof

[2010/02/21 23:28] Wulf walks over to Kaiya's form and kneels down beside her, checking for a pulse and steady breathing. He sighs and nods, looking over to Yumm. "She should be fine..." he says, smiling around to Yumm, Kohaku, and Kyo.
[2010/02/21 23:33] Kohaku Hisakawa stand there with her arms crossed, looking over at the restored Kaiya. She was certainly glad they had succeeded in saving her. She did not know Kaiya, but what kind of Shinigami would she be if she didnt do something? After all it was the Shinigami's duty to protect others, even complete strangers. She turns and heads for a senkai gate that had opened nearby, she figured she had better head back to her lab before he Captain Commander had noticed she was gone and let the friends have their reunion. She takes her leave, not really saying anything to the others so as not to interrupt, shewas sure she would meet them all again in the future.
[2010/02/21 23:37] Kyo falls over himself as he tries to get and rushes over to Kaiya with a big smile on his face "She's Back..... we did it she's back" Kyo looks a his comrade as a tear forms inside his eyepatch though nobody could see.
[2010/02/21 23:38] Yumm nods slowly as he sinks to his knees, happy tears flowing freely down his face. "We did it......" he murmurs, before laughing lightly. "See Willow....I always keep my promises." he says happily to the unconscious woman, reaching out to gently take her hand again.
[2010/02/21 23:43] Kaiya slowly opens her eyes, blue and kind as they blurrily search to figure out where she may be. Their voices echoing in her ears, and slowly solidify, turning her eyes up and around to those close by her, "Willow.." She smiles a little, tired, but gentle, "You all.. saved me."
[2010/02/21 23:45] Wulf nods and smiles down to her. He looks over to Yumm and places a hand on the not-bunny's shoulder. "Good job..." he says, before looking over to Kyo also.
[2010/02/21 23:50] Kyo smiles as he looks at Kaiya "How do you feel Kaiya?" he asks with a hint of concernbut mostly joy.
[2010/02/21 23:50] Yumm nods over at Wulf, still grinning. before turning back to watching Kaiya. "Sorry it took so long.....that monster just wouldn't lay down and die for us....but You're back now, and that's all that matters....." he replies quietly, scrubbing at the back of his eyes with the sleeve of the hand not holding her own, and giving out a soft sniffle. He doesn't even seem to register that he still has her hand right now."Are you okay?"
[2010/02/21 23:54] Kaiya slowly works to sit up, looking down over her form. Her free hand lifting, touching her face, even checking her stomach for the scars that were there, "..It's like.. it never happened." Puzzled, but relieved. She slowly shifts her hand down, and sighs in relief as it hits the hilt of.. two swords? Blinking, she glances down with puzzlement, "What.. my Zanpaktou is diferent."
