At the beginning of the filler, the zanpakuto state they have captured the CC because his zanpakuto was unwilling to join them.

ahhh... now i remember.... i thought i heard something like that... but my mind was full... yup captured... so maybe byakuya is also thrown into a cell along with the CC...
